Beacon
Open-source memory layer for coding agents across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more.
Also known as agent-beacon
What it does
Beacon is an open-source memory and session layer from Asymptote Labs for coding agents. The site says it captures sessions across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, and 20+ other harnesses, then turns reviewed workflows and corrections into skills later agents can retrieve through MCP or Agent Skills. The agent-beacon repository is MIT-licensed. Beacon's plans page lists the local open-source agent and Beacon Cloud at $0, and Beacon Cloud Pro at $20 a month, or $15 a month billed annually.
Who is Beacon for?
Developers who switch between coding agents and want reviewed fixes to carry over.
