- What is VibeStack?
- VibeStack is a directory and a set of shortlists for people who build with AI: coding agents, vibe coding, games, images, video, and the tools around a stream. It is meant to stay current by editing data files, not by rewriting the site.
- How do ratings work?
- Scores run from 1.0 to 5.0. They are an editorial judgment of how useful a tool is at the job it claims, based on public product positioning. They are not benchmark numbers, user-review averages, or a promise that a higher score wins every task.
- When does VibeStack show a price or a date?
- A starting price is shown only when priceStatus is known. Otherwise the page says the price is not verified and the data uses check. Release dates work the same way: known, uncertain, or check with the date left null. The seed date on rankings (2026-10-15) is when that shortlist was written.
- When do affiliate links and featured badges appear?
- This seed sets affiliateUrl to null and featuredListing to false on every tool. A partner link appears, with rel="sponsored", only after a real tracked URL is added. A Featured badge appears only when the flag is true. Neither is implied by a high rating.
- Does the newsletter send email?
- The signup form stores addresses in this browser under vibestack.newsletter. No third-party email service is connected.
