Playground

4.0/ 5

Experimental Google platform to create, play, and share games from text prompts.

Also known as Google Playground

What it does

Playground is Google's experimental browser platform for making a game by describing it, then playing and sharing the result. The Oct 7, 2026 post says it launches for users in the U.S. who are 18 or older, at playground.google, and that creation access is tiered by Google AI subscription. The same post says a Unity Spark integration is planned. Unity Spark is in testing, and a closed beta is still ahead. The launch post does not list a dollar price.

Who is Playground for?

People in the U.S., 18 or older, who want to prototype a playable game from a prompt.
