Perplexity
4.6/ 5
Answer engine that searches the web and cites the pages it used.
What it does
Perplexity answers questions with citations back to web sources, which makes it a research tool more than a blank-page writer. It is useful when you need a starting map of a topic and links to check. A free tier and paid plans exist; confirm the current price.
Who is Perplexity for?
People who want sourced answers instead of an uncited chatbot reply.
