Open Duet
Community Apache-2.0 workspace for self-hosted AI coworkers with memory, routines, and approvals.
Also known as open-duet
What it does
Open Duet is a community open-source project in the Anil-matcha/open-duet repository, an Apache-2.0 alternative to Claude Duet. The README describes named AI coworkers with instructions, memory, routines, an isolated computer, and approval before they act. It says the project does not include a model, and that you choose the engine and provider account. Version 0.8.0, a GitHub prerelease published November 2, 2026, adds a community MCP integration and mobile search, tables, pairing, and file access. A later prerelease the same day, v0.8.1, only links its compare range. The README also lists a separate hosted service, Suparagent: Free preview at $0 a month with compute billed to a Boat account, Starter at $15 a month, Standard at $49 a month, and Pro at $99 a month. Model usage is billed by the provider you bring.
Who is Open Duet for?
